Date : November 4, 2023 Another important dissemination and capacity-building activity was the Master Class organized at Innovation City in Sousse on November 4, 2023. This event aimed to support project stakeholders in strengthening the strategic development and implementation of their innovation projects within the framework of the NGS-4-Ecoprod initiative. The master class was led by Prof. Souad Rouis, who participated as the main trainer and facilitator. The session brought together key project participants, including Prof. Raida Zribi Zghal and Dr. Fatma Karray, who worked intensively on refining the action plans of their respective innovation projects, particularly in the areas of biopesticides and bioplastics. During the workshop, participants engaged in collaborative discussions and practical exercises focused on project structuring, strategic planning, innovation management, and the development of sustainable biotechnology solutions. The session also provided a platform for exchanging expertise and identifying practical steps to move from research outcomes toward scalable eco-innovative products. The master class enabled participants to clarify their project objectives, define implementation roadmaps, and strengthen the alignment between scientific research and market-oriented innovation strategies. It also encouraged interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing among researchers involved in the NGS-4-Ecoprod ecosystem. Such events play a crucial role in the successful implementation of the NGS-4-Ecoprod project, as they contribute to strengthening researchers’ capacities in innovation management, technology transfer, and sustainable product development. By providing structured guidance and hands-on mentoring, the master class helped ensure that the project’s research outputs can be effectively translated into impactful, environmentally friendly solutions, thereby reinforcing the project’s objectives of promoting eco-innovative production systems and sustainable biotechnology in Tunisia and beyond.
