2nd Edition of the Tunisian-European Days of Science and Innovation (TESI-II): From

The 2nd Edition of the Tunisian-European Science and Innovation Days (TESI-II) was an important event dedicated to strengthening scientific collaboration and innovation between Tunisia and Europe. The event brought together researchers, academic institutions, innovation stakeholders, and European project representatives to exchange ideas, present research initiatives, and foster new partnerships.
During the event, a dedicated stand was allocated to the European project NGS-4-Ecoprod, providing an opportunity to showcase the project’s objectives, activities, and expected impact in the field of sustainable biotechnology and eco-innovative production systems.
On , 2023, the stand was represented by key members of the project team, including Prof. Bassem Jaouadi, member of the consortium, Prof. Slim Tounsi, the project coordinator, and Dr. Héla Gargouri, the project manager. They actively engaged with participants, presenting the goals of the NGS-4-Ecoprod project, discussing its scientific and technological contributions, and highlighting opportunities for collaboration with researchers, students, and institutional partners.
On , 2023, the stand activities continued with the participation of Prof. Souad Rouis and Dr. Najla Kharrat, who contributed to promoting the project and interacting with visitors interested in European research initiatives and biotechnology innovation.
Throughout the two days of the event, informational flyers and communication materials about the NGS-4-Ecoprod project were widely disseminated among participants. These materials helped increase awareness of the project’s mission, its consortium partners, and its role in promoting sustainable and eco-innovative solutions.
The stand attracted significant interest from researchers, students, and representatives of research and innovation institutions, creating valuable opportunities to discuss the project’s scientific approach, share knowledge, and strengthen the visibility of the NGS-4-Ecoprod initiative within the Tunisian and European research and innovation ecosystem.
Overall, participation in TESI-II contributed to enhancing the dissemination, networking, and outreach activities of the NGS-4-Ecoprod project, while reinforcing links between the scientific community and European research programs.
